What is the image sensor of the Sony Xperia L ?

I have tested for you the performance of the Sony Xperia L. This time, I come to you with a focus on the camera sensor, which deserves a separate article. I must say that Sony insists on its ability to attract NPC.

The integrated on the Sony Xperia The camera sensor takes pictures in 8 megapixel (4:3) or 5-megapixel (16:9) and 720p videos. The technology used is the Exmor RS. The HDRP mode is available in both photo and video and proves to be very effective. For a mid-range smartphone sold at 299 euros, these features are interesting.

The different settings  :
Regarding the classic photo mode, there are options listed below:

    Exposure
    HDR
    White Balance
Sensitivity between 100 and 800 ISO
    Image Stabilization

Note that to access the scene selection, it will not go through the normal mode. It also reveals the panorama scanning option. Finally, the Burst mode, available on the Xperia Z is not present here.

Photos effects
A crowd photo effects are available:

Nostalgic

Miniature

Vivid

Filter

Fish-eye

Picture

Partial Color

Harris Shutter

Kaleidoscope

In conclusion, the picture of the Xperia Z, a high-end smartphone sensor is better than the Xperia L with a better level of detail. AFN L but still very good for a mid-range smartphone.
